Hong Kong Airport

The airport is located on the island of Chek Lap Kok which is mostly made up of reclaimed land especially for the purpose of building the airport. We felt like we were about to land directly in the ocean so were very relieved when suddenly land appeared under our plane's wheels! After a meal at the airport and some duty free shopping we headed for the departure lounge.
